Midnight Snack is my quiet corner on the internet for those reflections that linger long after the world has gone to bed. It’s a place for those who think too much, feel too deeply, and find meaning in the smallest, most ordinary moments. With each piece, I observe and sift through the everyday; curiosities, culture, selfhood, creativity, loss, and more.

It’s bite-sized yet thoughtful and written like it’s from the pages of a personal journal (most times, they start as scribbles in my diary). Midnight snack is also meant to be light-hearted and I write with a brand of subtle humour I find amusing. I hope you do too.

Women taking a bottle of drink from the fridge
If we’re not supposed to have midnight snacks, why is there a light in the fridge?

My reflections go well with your morning coffee or evening tea and pair excellently with midnight musings. I’ll even go on to say it makes for good toilet literature, although you really shouldn’t be snacking in the loo. (But I don’t judge).

If you choose to subscribe, thank you! If you like my posts, I’d love to know. It takes a lot of creative effort and hope to share this with you, so nothing would make me happier than your thoughts.

Happy snacking,

Smriti xx
